Nice beach club vibe, very chill music and a place to relax and recuperate. We did not really like the menu, found it limiting. You need some type of transport to get around anywhere, such as shops. Short access to nearby restaurants/shops is off track and involves some climbing. Fair amount of fitness required."

"We had an amazing stay at The Sankara, everything was just superb! Spacious, very clean and modern room, super comfy bed and huge bathroom. The pool and gardens are absolutely gorgeous and the beach at the front was good for snorkeling. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and attentive. Breakfast provided was plentiful. There are some really cool restaurants nearby, a bit dark to walk along the road but very do-able. We hired a scooter to make it easier to get around."
