"Nice, clean cabin with comfortable bedding. If you’re looking for remote—this is it! Beautiful night skies! The only negative was the rough road to the lodge. I read several other reviews that said the same thing and I thought we’d be fine since we were in a 4 wheel drive vehicle but we weren’t. My stomach hurt from bouncing so much (we were going way below the speed limit) and it takes forever to get back to the main road. If they can get the county to pave the rest of the road—I’d have...

"This is a combination RV Park and small hotel. Our room was nicely decored in a southwestern style. The bathroom had a great waterfall shower. The grounds were well maintained (desert style). The owner was very friendly and accommodating. It's located on the main road, quite close to Big Bend National Park, in a quiet area beyond the more touristy parts of Terlingua. The check-in process is contactless and worked smoothly. "

"Very easy!! No reception but we were contacted by email with easy entrance directions. Older building so you can hear people when they walk down the hall but it wasn't a problem. Drug Store is closed but the pool and foosball tables were available for a fun game. Bed was really comfortable!! Great location, we walked to grocery, liquor store and explored park by the courthouse. It’s not a fancy new hotel but we loved that It felt like we were back in time. "
