The drive up was pretty intense as it’s out the way, so we didn’t spend loads of time in the accommodation but wow the views were incredible morning & evening looking out to the river!! Food was nice, staff very friendly. They had dogs on site which were very friendly also. Can be very noisy throughout the night with dogs howling and birds."

"You must read-up on what to expect at the queen’s hotel. It may or may not be for you. It feels like stepping back in time. The place is a little shabby in places but if you want to have that feeling of living a bit of history it delivers. It’s an excellent location and the staff are all friendly and helpful. "This is a very comfortable and clean hotel. The staff are very welcoming and polite. The rooms are lovely and the food is good. Spent a lovely day relaxing by the pool which is very clean. Has come to Kandy for the Perahera and this was an oasis of quiet after the hustle and bustle. I would definitely book to stay here again."
