"The Maritim was a beautiful hotel about a mile from the Marienplatz and not far from the train station. Our room was spacious enough for 3 adults, the hotel was very clean, the breakfast had plenty of tasty options, and the staff was really friendly! Our only concern was the area around the hotel. It was somewhat sketchy. We didn’t feel comfortable staying out too late due to the groups of individuals around the hotel area. Never the less, we had a great visit and thoroughly enjoyed our visit...

"Schwan Locke was the perfect place to stay in Munich. It was clean, the staff was helpful. I loved that we had our own kitchen and there wasn’t daily maid service to worry about. The WiFi connection was great too. The only drawback was the neighbourhood. It was very close to plublic transport and felt safe during the day, but there was a strip club a block away - it just didn’t feel like somewhere you’d want to be walking around late at night."

"This was an economical gem of a place! The room was furnished with only what was needed for a night's stay and little else, but it was well done. My only complaint was that when I went down to the desk to ask for another pillow the man at the desk appeared 'annoyed and dismissive' in his expression and body language, but gave me the pillow anyway. The breakfast is OUTSTANDING and was one the best hotel breakfasts that I have ever experienced. "
