"The property is a typical, warm and friendly country inn, nestled on the outskirts of Thingvellir National Park. It is an easy drive to many amazing natural landmarks including Thingvellir, Silfra Fissure, Geysir, Gullfoss waterfall, Secret Lagoon thermal springs, and much more. "This was a *wonderful* home to stay in for our time in Iceland. It was a hub for lots of great day trips, but there was plenty to do in the house as well -- lots of great games, a beautiful kitchen to cook and eat in, and views galore. We didn't have time to use the hot tub, but I imagine that would also have been delightful!"

"Our stay at the Lake Palace was wonderful. The home is beautifully situated, spacious, and well equipped. The host was very accommodating and provided a crib and high chair for us to use for our little one. Soaking in the hot tub with a view of the mountains was an incredible way to unwind after a day of hiking. We highly recommend staying here!"
