"What a beautiful location. When my wife and i woke up in the morning, we watched the sunrise over the Dales. The same for breakfast as the dining room has ceiling high windows overlooking the cows and sheep grazing in the fields. The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet, and the beds are comfy. We quickly became friends with some of the other guests. The bottom line is that we had a wonderful time there. We highly recommend Throstle Nest Farm. "

"The hotel was central and convenient for some shopping but there was no hotel parking, so we had to park on the street but did find a spot for over 24 hours. There was paid parking but it was expensive - £10 for 24 hours. Otherwise the hotel was fine, clean and the breakfast was good but again quite expensive. "
