"It was our second stay at The Holiday Inn Hotel in Southend and it was excellent. Easy check in, all staff were friendly and excellent service. The room was a very good size and was spotlessly clean, lovely bathroom with fabulous smelling toiletries. Everything you would need was in the room including a safe. The breakfast was excellent so much choice. Easy parking at the hotel cost £10.00 a night. I highly recommend this hotel."

"The Marine Hotel was located in a great position for views and walks to Whitstable town and harbour. The room was well presented and comfortable to stay in. There were some signs of damp and wear and tear, it's probably due a refresh soon. The staff were very helpful and polite when checking in/out and booking meals.
