Great service and rooms for the hotel with a convenient location. Some things could be improved, namely the bathroom looks old and the breakfast options are limited. Everything else however is excellent.

I had read negative reviews and was sceptical about the property and was pleasantly surprised. It’s convenient. The biggest drawbacks are wait times for elevators and limited linens, lousy pillows, and the shower water is lukewarm.

Good stay but didn't like that the faux leather couch was making a mess in the room. The cushions were drastically peeling. I don't know if it's specific to certain areas too but our water was barely warm while we showered.

The view from our 21st floor room was fantastic. It was much quieter than anticipated for being in the center of the city. We found the room to be large and comfortable. We enjoyed being able to cook breakfast in the room which saved some money on meals. Though this is no fault of the hotel property, there was quite a lot of public drug use in the area. Recreational drugs are legal in Canada, and their use is ubiquitous. The smell of canabis is everywhere. And there were a surprising number of homeless people sleeping in tents and on the ground in the surrounding parks and even on public sidewalks. In spite of this, we never felt unsafe, though we were very aware of our surroundings at all times.

First room was dated and old. It took a lot of effort to open the door as it sticking on the frame, and it took a loud slam to close it. The balcony door was locked. The control for heat/Ac did not work, had to figure out how it worked on the unit itself, and the one small television was in the living room. There was no TV in the bedroom. There was hardly any furniture in the unit, and what was there was just as dated as the unit itself. I asked for a new room the following day and what I was given was considerably better, much nicer and had a TV in the bedroom, however the shower would never get any warmer than lukewarm. I had to just deal with it as I didn’t have time to keep asking for a new room. If that has been it, I would have left a 3 star review and moved on. The final straw for for me was the refusal of the hotel to permit two friends to visit me at around 3am. I was told by security that it was hotel policy. When I asked for a copy of it, I was told it was part of the agreement I signed when I checked in. I asked to see that agreement, and no where on it was there anything regarding visitors or restrictions on hours they could visit. Next I was told that since my room was single occupancy I could bring one of the two friends to my room. At this point it was clear that the guard was targeting me, so I went to my room, packed my bag, and left. It was my last night there anyway. Expensive, dated, unfriendly, and unreasonable. Never again, awful place.

Nice spacious and clean suites. The hotel is conveniently located close to amazing cafes, shopping and restaurants. Our only suggestions are, room living area closet needs hangers, and washroom needs to hooks to hang towels, etc. thank you.

I have never written a review, good or bad. But I have to say I was very disappointed with this property. It was nowhere near as nice as the photos appeared and was not fully renovated. My first room was not at all what I booked so I asked to change rooms. My next room was a huge improvement but still not what I was expecting. The gentleman at the front desk, Dan, was great. Other than that, a very disappointing stay.

The room was NOTHING like the photos show on Expedia. Completely false advertising and a total scam in my opinion. The room was run down, the floors were filthy and the bathroom fan brought in weed and cigarette smells. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly though.
