"We spent a wonderful week here this summer with our two young children. The location of the cabin is excellent, with a descent super market in the village, petrol station, golf club and a few bars. There are many beautiful villages within 20 minutes drive with restaurants and bars. 10 mins drive is a lovely lake which we swam in as well as hired a kayak, perfect when the temperature was 30 degrees! Also there’s a climbing/forest activity which we spent the whole day at less than 10 minutes away...

"We wanted for nothing in this property, everything was provided. It was in a huge, secluded garden, but the property was separate, and a long way from the main house, so we didn't feel enclosed in any way. We sat/ate outside a lot of the time, and felt that we were a long way from the main house. Samur-en-Auxois was everything we thought it was, and François Meunieur was extremely helpful. 10/10!"

"Our stay was nothing short of perfect. It is a gem hidden near a river. The staff were beyond friendly and welcoming. The breakfast offered variety and a good quantity. I would highly recommend staying here if you have an opportunity to do so in your travels."
