"Excellent hotel. Extremely clean & comfortable . Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff, they made our trip more interesting with their advices & tips about the city. You could rent mopeds from them. Arranged rides to the city nights market and helped with day trips bookings to James Bond Island, Phi Phi island, and to the Turtle sanctuary. "Property is in the middle of nowhere. No food options and 7-11 shops nearby. Must use a motorbike or car to ge anywhere. Property lacks any amenities. Units are detached and can accomodate 1-2 people. The TV is basic with no options to stream. The bathroom is run down and desperately needs a renovation. When you flush the toilet the bowl leaks. Much better accomodation options in Phuket. Should only stay if no other options available."

"Generally a decent hotel. 2 days my room wasn't cleaned despite the please clean room sign being on from 8am until 4pm. This wasn't an issue as it was only one person in the room, but could be an issue if 2 people were staying. Rooms with balcony a face over the road so can be very noisy. Noise within hotdl between rooms was minimal. Pool area is nice, but be warned, you'll need to move your sunbeds around. Shuttle service is good, thogh only one way and doesn't have designated pick up times...

"We stayed in The Oceanic Sportel for 5 nights. We, however, spent most of the days on tours and did not use any of the facilities hotel offers (pool, gym, tennis courts). Be aware of the location of the hotel, there are no close beaches as most of them are on the other side of the island. The staff is always nice. We took breakfast at the hotel as well. The breakfast offers a lot to choose from. "
