"I arrived late and was only here one night before I went on a retreat about four hours away. It felt a bit like a hostel (common areas, at least). The room was very nice and the staff was friendly. "Quiet area of Cancun, new and classy building. Service is hit and miss, not up to luxury standards. Front desk forced us to pay for an upgraded room with ocean view although we booked ocean view, claiming hotel was fully booked although it was clearly not. In general property seems to focus on up charging guests at any opportunity with ridiculously high mini bar pricing, watered down margaritas at the beach and surprise bills for $10 Evian water at breakfast.
