"We stay here often to visit my wife's mother in Westbourne. Every one is very friendly. The bar is very reasonably priced. Beds comfy and their prices are very reasonable. It's not 5 star but when you only need a bed for the night it's perfect. Yes the hotels a bit tired in places. If you want to pay twice the amount go 5 star but here is good."

"Absolutely loved our 3 night stay at The Nici. Staff are wonderful, food and drinks super tasty and we would definitely return. The icing on the cake for us was how dog friendly the hotel is. We watched the hotel Christmas decorations going up yesterday so it looks even more magnificent - tempted to make another trip leading up to the festive celebrations. Great hotel! "

"Overall good experience and nice looking/good facilities. However our room was not completely clean. There were orange stains on the duvet and pillows (on the covers as well as the actual pillows) and red on the sheets, stains on carpet and dirty windows and windowsill which when condensated had orange drips coming down. Only other annoyance was trying to enter the hotel later at night, we had to wait 15 mins for someone to let us in when supposed to be 24hr service. Other than that nice stay...

"The staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was we'll stocked and enjoyable. The swimming pool was closed but fortunately we were able to walk to the hotel next-door and use their swimming pools. The Sauna and Jacuzzi facilities would have been very welcome, if only they were working! The room that we had on the same level as the reception wasn't great, as we didn't have any kind of view from the window. We were offered another room but declined it, as it was even less suitable...

"Lovely hotel, great staff, good facilities, wish we had booked an afternoon tea as it looked amazing! Beds comfy, rooms decent, breakfast luke warm if you arrived after 9am, plenty of Choice. The only disappointing fact which was no fault of the hotel, was the neighbouring rooms waking us up at 6am and being able to hear every conversation, and even when they used the bathroom - could def use soundproofing. Other than that, would happily book again. "
