Apartments in Upstate South Carolina

"We had zero communication prior to check in which made it very frustrating. Thankfully someone was there even though it clearly said this was a property with no check in lobby or staff. After our incredibly confusing and frustrating beginning, we did enjoy our stay. This property was perfect for our stay, great location, felt safe and so close to everything we wanted. They clearly don’t have a perfect system, too many flaws for us to consider staying here again. Maybe they’ll improve with time....

"Loved this property! Location was unbeatable. We were right in the middle of downtown with a view of Main Street in the winter so still lit for Christmas. Food, entertainment, hiking, sights, nightlife, and much more all immediately accessible. Owner has decorated tastefully and stocked generously "

"Situated near great parking and just off main street near the Mast General Store, this condo is ideal for visiting the downtown area. You could walk to virtually everything though the nearest grocery might be a bit of a trek for some. Not to worry, parking in the nearby garage is super convenient. Internet was reliable and the unit was comfortably appointed."

"We absolutely LOVED our stay here. The apartment is in an old mill and they have completely renovated it. Super cool place to stay, much better than staying in a hotel. Husband and I were here for work but staying here was a nice getaway and we were able to pretend we were a young, hip couple. Surrounding area is a bit sketchy but we felt very safe in and around the building."

"We really enjoyed staying in the converted church in Newry when we came to visit our son for a Clemson football game. Liked walking down the street to the General Store and exploring around Newry. The personal touches by the host was a nice surprise. We will definitely come back next time we visit. "

"Property was not cleaned, had to clean myself. Trash was left in both bath bins. Had ants in kitchen. Strong pet odor in master bedroom caused my kids to sneeze and 1 kid had itching every day. Fridge had food in it and was dirty. Washer and dryer were both full with laundry. Couch has stains. As do the mattresses, pillows, box springs. Baseboards throughout the apartment were dirty. HVAC return vent was dirty. Left a day early because of the conditions."
