"This historic home was a pleasure to stay in. It was like stepping back in time. We shared the bathroom with one other couple, whom we never saw. We had the music room, which was at the front of the property. There is a railway not far away and we were a little concerned about the noise however once evening came the train noise was greatly reduced and we didn't hear them again until morning. There is a restaurant downstairs, we didn't have time to try it out. That went quiet by 10pm so no...

"Even before we arrived, I knew we would have a great experience, mainly because of a series of email exchanges with Richard. On arrival and for 5he 2 days we were there, we were impressed with the detail and thoughtfulness of this hospitality. Beautiful house on top of a hill, close to the vieneyards and concert venue, excellent breakfasts and the added extra of transport to and from bimbadgen made this a stay to remember. "Stayed with two families with young kids. The house was perfect and pleasantly surprised at how well the kitchen was stocked and generally felt like 5 stars. Quality bedding and extras! Plus the wildlife feeder and provided feed was a great bonus. Made daily visits to the resort facilities - pond, tennis court and pool. Will definatley visit again!!"
