"Beautifully situated within easy walking distance of shops/walks/harbour and beach. Room 16 was small, which is expected in an old building, but was characterful with great sea view. The thick walls made it very cool on a scorching day. Only downside was bath could do with a shower curtain and car park gets very busy and is 5 min walk. Enjoyed the food in the restaurant both at breakfast and dinner. Would stay again."

Although we had a lovely Valentine meal, we were in the public bar, next to the bar which was a bit noisy, table in the restaurant would have been preferred for a bit more privacy. "We had an amazing overnight stay at the Annex. Nancy, the host, could not have been more welcoming, informative and helpful. The cottage was ideal for our particular needs - a rather last minute booking - and very clean and well equipped throughout. It was beautifully warm, and the property is set deep in a very beautiful part of lovely Exmoor. Would highly recommend this cosy cottage for a couple and reasonably priced as well. "

"Lovely historic hotel in Lynmouth right by the water. Be aware that check-in ends at 10pm and front doors lock at 11pm, but staff are friendly and helpful if you need any accomodation around that. We called and were given instructions on how to get our keys on arrival after 10pm. As for our stay, the hotel was comfortable, quiet and lovely. The breakfast options were quite nice as well. "

Drew and Penny are fantastic hosts and clearly care about keeping guests happy , they have a great knowledge of the local area and nothing was too much trouble The house interior looks fantastic and is a credit to their hard work renovating the property . Breakfast is to die for , it was all freshly cooked and local produce , we had no complaints and the dining room had a really pleasant atmosphere .
