"No towels… must rent them. No hand soap in bathroom or kitchen. Bed is not made must make it yourself. Dead bugs on floor. Hallway area was run down and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We paid extra for an ocean view room and did have a great view and overall felt relatively safe. "

"Spacious (Marquis) lots of space for 3 people. Very close walk to everything. Staff very friendly and helpful. Kitchen is well appointed although we ended up only doing breakfasts in our room. Dining room table is large and good for playing cards (seats at least 6 people). Only knock was couch was ok but could have been a little more comfortable- maybe just add some cushions. Had elevator which was nice vs carrying luggage up 3 flights. "

"Met by host, Serge, who gave us a great welcome and intro to property. Host had included some welcome treats, including a bottle of champagne and Belgian chocolates.. and Christmas decorations as we celebrated Christmas here. Fully equipped kitchen, heating and comfy beds meant a great stay. We used the cottage as a base for exploring the area and it was great- the beachfront at De Haan was beautiful and easy access to Ghent and Bruges… Great communication and check out procedure… Thanks so much...

"Pascal was great, he communicated well and was helpful prior to arrival. The property is in a quiet area but literally minutes from the busy streets, which is nice relief from the crowds. So great suggestions for restaurants on Du Phare on the outer ring mostly locals and food excellent-our favourite of the trip. Pascal even came to pick us up at the station as he knew it was very busy. He checked us in and took time to point out attractions and places of interest. a very enjoyable Christmas...

"Das Haus ist sehr schön, es ist alles da was man braucht. Die Betten sind bequem, das Internet funktioniert super. Es gibt zwei Parkplätze direkt vor dem Eingang. Die Anlage ist gross und man hat Platz.Die Sauna haben wir auch genutzt das hat Spass gemacht. Der Besitzer ist seeeehr nett und freundlich. Er war super pünktlich hat sogar schon auf uns gewartet. Wir können dieses Haus auf jedenfall herzlich weiter empfehlen. Bis hoffentlich ein anderes Mal in de Haan. "
