This hotel was a dream. It is so worth it to go extra and purchase a room with a balcony and the view of the canal. Everything from the reception as soon as we got there to the amazing breakfast that they serve in the mornings to the Charming rooms this hotel was a true dream for me

A very disappointing stay. The room was cold with no radiators, one of the lights wasn’t working and there was lots of hair left by the cleaner after each daily cleaning. The bed was very hard too. The entrance area smelled strongly of sewage. I regret staying at this hotel as it absolutely not a four star hotel it’s claiming to be. There are much better options for a lower price in Venice.

Breakfast choices was really nice. Hotel is really dated as expected. The first thing that met me in the lobby was distinctly offensive to my nose was the smell of sewage and toilet, literally. I said something about it to the bell boy. So, the following day, sticks of air freshener were all over the lobby.

The location & all of Venice is beautiful. We love Ana, tour manager. She took good care of us & Carlo was the best bus driver we’ve ever had. He accommodated us & he’s has good mannerisms. However, the two men in the first hotel were humiliating us for no apparent reason. They laughed, targeted us as their next victims, gave us the worst recommendation for a restaurant which in turn also humiliated the owners of that restaurant. We’ve never ever been through a situation like that & we still have no idea why. I believe they’ve done that before & think it’s funny & harmless, however how would they feel if the table was turned the other way. Everyone else & the cities we’ve seen were marvelous!

Location was perfect, only 500 meters from the train terminal and our room overlooking the grand canal provided awesome views of the city. Plenty of shops and dining were within walking distance. The staff was top notch and were very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Venice.

Very beautiful hotel, nice view of the cannel river. Friendly and helpful front service crew. Nice breakfast, easy access to railway station and city bus( in Water) . Will come back to stay again.

Our room was basically in the attic of the building, extremely small and rundown. The lobby has an odd smell throughout the day. The only nice part is the breakfast next to the canal and the staff there. Everything else was terrible.

This property was very smelly. The rooms, bathrooms all smelled like sewage water. It was also not very clean. Our shower was missing a door and it we had to take quick showers to now let water flood the tile area in the bathroom. The staff checking in didn’t go out of their way to make an impression, the bellman were the nicest! Location is great, close to everything!

Incredible hotel! From the moment we arrived at the front desk we were treated so warmly. We were early for check in by several hours and they welcomed us anyway with our room that was ready and beyond what we expected. The room was gorgeous, huge, and had the most amazing patio/balcony with a view of the canal! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!!!

Great location. My room overlooked the canal which was cool for the last night. My room lacked warmth, the bed was hard. The morning staff was very friendly, the bell hops happy to help you. Afternoon and evening staff was grumpy and put me off.

Great service from start to finish. The property and rooms were very clean. We had the deluxe room with canal view which was exceptional. Great location and perfect for a family stay. Preferred this area to San Marco with a toddler. Plenty to do but not as congested. Lots of great restaurants nearby with outdoor seating.
