"Beautiful, historic property. Rooms were nice, dining area was very historic feeling, enjoyed a nice dinner and breakfast buffet the next morning was varied and high quality. Outdoor dining is available weather permitting, grounds are lovely. Loved all the photos and personal items around the home, it was nice to see previous owners and uses, I love history, so this was a real treat for me. "

This place has hostel vibes as it is super welcoming and friendly and a good place to chill, but hotel vibes in the room sense.
My only criticism is the place where you put the card in to turn the light has an awfully bright blue light (which worst bad for sleep) that illuminates the whole room when the card is in it but is needed for lights. This light should be removed. "
