"For the price the hotel is very good. Breakfast was good with variety of foods. You get a lot of amenities in the bathroom literally everything you need, I didn't get so many things in much more expensive hotels. For the room it is getting little outdated and old but if you go to the hotel only for a sleep you won't mind older furniture. Shower pressure was good and water was hot too."

"We stayed at the Lao Poet for 5 nights. Loved the decor and our room (610) was a good size and quiet. The location is excellent and within walking distance to key sites. There are banks to change money right down the street and several good restaurants within a few minutes. The staff were very sweet and helpful. Breakfast was very fresh. "The location of this hotel is perfect! Very central and in a very busy eatery / bar eara just off from night market and Mekong river restaurants. My room had the most comfortable bed in my 2 week journey through Laos and a very generous shower space. I had the total delight of bring very gently woken by monks chanting their gratitude as morning alms took place.
