"What an amazing experience in Saint Remy! The house is just perfect in every way...clean, well stocked, beautiful and comfortable. Valerie is so kind and generous. We absoutely loved staying here for five nights."

"Our second time at Xavier's house. The niggles from last year have mostly been addressed, except the fan in the bathroom. A very pleasant 2 weeks with glorious sunshine throughout. The dogs remembered the villa straight away and were very settled in the garden. Although we had neighbours in the front house this time, parking for a car each was not a problem. Able to visit all of our old haunts in western Provence, and a few new ones. We will be back again - maybe not next year - but soon."

"Wonderful setting on a large vineyard and apricot farm. We chose this location as our home base for a 2 week vacation in Provence. We wanted to be halfway between Arles and Avignon, and drove all over Provence from here as well. Host Cécile is delightful. She offered us complete privacy and autonomy - the entrance and parking spot amongst the cypress trees are private - but we wanted to meet her and so glad that we did! Fascinating history and stories, and we learned how a vineyard works....

The website announces that bedding is provided, but then the owner writes to you to ask for €10 per person for sheets and towels. On arrival, you are told to use a screwdriver to clean the shower drains of hair before you leave. Then on departure, with minutes to spare, you are told to clean the whole place yourself or pay another €50. It’s not unusual to ask for a cleaning fee, but...

"Just returned from a lovely stay in Mouries, Provence. Rudy the owner was extremely helpful on arrival recommending some super places for us to visit. The air-conditioning was extremely welcome in the current heatwave we've been experiencing. A great boulangerie/patisserie 2 minutes on foot down the road (one of several in the town!) . Great base for our trips out to visit the region. The garden was particularly lovely to sit out in - beautifully maintained."

"It's not in Sainted Marie la mer which is not clear when booking it's 8km outside. It's in Pioch Badet. There is a window box full of bird crap and the whole place smelt musty, the bathroom needed cleaned thoroughly and there wasn't loo roll or proper bedding only paper sheets. There are no towels which wasn't mentioned either so visitors from UK probably should be made aware. The house is nice enough just a bit tired - maybe it hadn't been rented in a whike. "The room is dark in the evening because one light bulb is missing. But the staff said they can only fix it after I left due to weekend. The hotel is full so I can’t change to another room. Not sufficient staff helping at breakfast time, hotel guest need to find a clean cup from other table. The price is good and the room is clean, so that you can accept they are not perfect. "

Gorgeous property great location

"This was a beautiful 5 star hotel. The property is gorgeous. The room is small but lovely- nice bathroom and bathtub. We had a fantastic dinner at the gourmet restaurant. Outstanding. The server was lovely. We took their shuttle into town and that was great. Got to the market and did some shopping. Concierge super helpful also. My only comment is I did not like their pillows! Please get some down pillows for those of us who feel every lump and bump. Otherwise it was a fantastic stay. The spa and indoor pool looked great but we had a very short stay. I would recommend this property highly. "
