"Five of us stayed very comfortably. We could have easily had twice that many. There was a misunderstanding about towels and such. It was entirely my fault. This was my first experience with a self-service place and I didn’t read the instructions completely. Complicated by a bit of a language barrier. Otherwise, everything was perfect."

"This is the most interesting and unique stay my family has had. What atmosphere! We were welcomed with cake and tea and Christa was a wonderful host. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. "Wir waren mit 20 Personen in der Unterkunft um unser Sommerfest zu feiern. Die Lage ist super, 5min mit dem Auto vom Südufer des Kirnbergsees entfernt. Supermärkte waren mit dem Auto auch schnell zu erreichen. Für 20 Personen war ausreichend Platz, sowohl an dem großen Esstisch, als auch im Wohnbereich und draußen auf der Terrasse. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen"

"The cottage was charming and clean and faced a lovely view. There is a walking trail just out front and it was quiet and peaceful. We ate breakfast on the outside patio every morning. It’s close to amenities and we will definitely return. Highly recommend!"

"Fantastic house, stunning location. The house was large enough to accommodate 7 adults and 7 children without getting under each others feet. Manfred was excellent at communicating with us, very prompt replies with good advice. Mr and Mrs Hess were absolute stars, they couldn't have more patient with us non-speaking Germans and very charming couple. The house itself is situated within easy driving distance from many places of interest to visit."
