"Pros: Check-in was keyless and easy. Beds were fine, kitchen was well stocked with tools for cooking. The lake views were also a draw for sure, and it was quiet. Cons: It was a hot day and the inside of the house was VERY warm (88 F). Despite what was advertised, there is NOT central AC. There is a small mobile Toshiba unit in the back bedroom, but it was off. "Beautiful family cabin with a view of Lake Almanor. We enjoyed watching the colorful sunsets over the lake while sitting on the deck. Spacious, clean and well appointed with all the kitchen items you'd need. The cabin is in a quiet area, not far from Chester and easy access to the lake. We loved our comfortable stay and would happily return in the future. Thank you for a delightful base for our adventures!"

"The cabin was amazing! Very cool log cabin vibe with all of the decorations to make you feel like you're roughing it in the woods but with all the modern convenience to make it comfortable. The outdoor bathtub and grilling area were standouts. The cabin actually does have AC even though the listing says it doesn't so that was a relief for a summer getaway.
