"This is a great place to stay if you’ve got a family; there’s lots to do. We stayed at the Ocean Tower, and it was a hike to get to our rental car. We wanted a place where we could come and go easily to explore the island, but that’s just not how this resort is set up. It’s very nice. But it’s $45 a day to park in a lot that’s a 20 minute walk from our hotel, and the only breakfast offered costs $55 per person. "

"Probably the best beach on the big island and perfect relaxing oasis for big island excursions. This resort when fully operational is probably the epitome of discrete luxury with an eco sensibility. Manta was delicious. The staff were kind and went above and beyond to meet guest demands. The Manta moonlight excursion was magical. Sad that the pool was closed but as an ocean oriented family with a beautiful bay at our doorstep we didn't miss it. Banana bread is exceptional."

"Stayed 10 days and overall very nice and enjoyable. It is a bit dated but very comfortable with everything you need. Seems to be more of a family spot. "This property is spectacular. Stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. Unit was clean and updated. Incredibly comfortable with a great layout. Kudos to the property management group! The service was top notch. The views are beautiful and the area is tranquil. Nice pool, walking distance to beautif beach, and close to all the best beaches on Big Island.
