"A great hotel in a prime location . Staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent and refreshingly full service no making tea and toast. Parking could be a little challenging at times but it also has some free access to 13amp plugs to charge your car. We had a balcony onto a lovely waterfall but smoking is allowed . Would definitely stay again if in the area. Ambleside is great for vegetarian / vegan."

The room was big and clean, one of the two windows unfortunately would not open which was a pain as it was so hot this week. Lovely bathroom. Food menus really good, lots of selection and nice to have a choice of local ales. Would have stayed an extra night but needed better insentive with the discount. But still highly recommend to family and friends! "
