Won’t stay again. Told reception I was Expedia Gold, checked me into a room that smelled like wet dog. I had to show the VIP list of amenities to the receptionists….got the bottle of wine as it wasn’t offered. I was love to a room on the top floor and this had an in room safe that wasn’t attached to a hard surface. I could put it under my arm and walk out with it. Shower pressure was very poor and basin faucet came out too fast….drenched the front of me on a few occasions. 3cm of dust in the vent above the toilet. Previous guests’ rubbish was found under the bed. Thick dust in the base boards. Best part of the stay was the delicious cooked breakfast and the best coffee.
Much nicer places to stay than in Melbourne. Give this “boutique” hotel a miss.

It was lovely to have the heater on when we arrived. Nice but dated. Very unkept out side. With a little work it could be really lovely. Ok, but only worth half the money we paid.

It's my second time staying here, and the room I got this time was nicer as the floors had been remodelled (no more carpet). Location is great. Some dust in the bathroom door, but rest of the bathroom was clean. Beds have wheels so they move quite easily on the new floors, but it's not a big deal for me.
Overall, great value for money. Walkable to MCEC, southern cross station and city centre.

"Lovely property- but a little dated. Was really looking forward to using the spa tub in my suite- but it was very old and the tub had a glass casing around it as the shower was above the tub… so was not really conducive to a bath or a spa. :-(. That was my biggest disappointment. But other than that ..."
