"We stayed in a room with a private bath; would not have liked to share the showers. Some people walked from showers to their room and not sure if they were cleaned in netween uses... Our room was very charming. The gift shop was awesome; loved the discounts on everything after Labor Day! "

"Be prepared for no elevator and tipping a bellhop to carry your luggage up the stairs. No modern conveniences in the room and WiFi was spotty. NO TV. Two beds, a desk and two chairs. No air conditioning but a fan was provided. Only six hangers in the closet. People over six feet will have to bend over to take a shower. Windows too high for a 5' 5" person to see out of. Public spaces classy but what you would expect for a 110 year old lodge. Two nice but expensive restaurants and the ambience was...
