"Beautiful property. The hosts literally have thought of everything you need for a perfect stay. Such a generous and very much appreciated welcome pack, especially as we arrived fairly late. Great communication from the host. Only a short drive from beautiful Lincoln. Although we stayed in the grounds of the host’s home it still felt incredibly private. Plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Very dog friendly. We would love to visit again. Thank you for everything Andy."

The hosts thought of EVERYTHING, the house is so well equipped and has literally everything you could possibly need. Hosts were fabulous and so responsive and even included a welcome basket with wine, treats and bread and milk. We couldn't believe how cheap it was for the location, amenities and house in general. "We stayed in the Lavender Cottage for two nights on a weekend away. The cottage is situated at a short distance from the Southwell Minster and village shops. Southwell itself is quite a compact and cute little village. The cottage is really well presented, clean and well equipped. The host, Rebecca, left us a hamper with bread, juice, milk etc. Everything was very clean and tidy. We had two cozy nights in there and the log fire was a great addition to the lovely relaxing feel the cottage has....

"Absolutely loved staying at the Dairy Barn, it was so comfortable and Jayne our host had put a lot of time and care ensuring that there’s everything needed for a home from home feel. The Barn is in a great location in a very pleasant village, just a few miles from lots of attractions and heritage sites. We were very pleased with the property it is very stylish and has everything you need they have thought of ever plus we were left a bottle of Prosecco and milk whuch was a nice suprise. The communication with the hosts was excellent before and during our stay. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and great that there is tvs in all rooms."

"Key safe broken, back door lock broken, garden not secure for dogs, bath flooded bathroom, wardrobe was a cupboard with dirty bedding in, washer had laundry in, only 2 forks, drainer didn't fit crockery, bedding not ironed as would expect for holiday accomodation and only 1 pillow each. saying that the house was warm in a lovely location for walks and the owner was friendly."

There are a few niggles, although I put them into the category of observations and not complaints. The bed in the 'very' large bedroom was very creaky, and is perhaps time for a new mattress. "The property was excellent. Table football, trampoline in the garden and gym in the garage kept the younger members of our party well occupied. The added bonus of an on-site tennis court was much appreciated. The position of the was peaceful in spite of a busy main road nearby. Our hosts were ever helpful no matter how many times we contacted them. Will definitely be looking for another stay in the future."
