You are in an ideal location for exploring this historical and scenic town of Whitby. There are stone steps leading you up to the cottage and being in an elevated position you may be tempted to sit out at the front on a sunny day, just watching the world pass by, with boats sailing out towards the sea, as well as the heritage steam train puffing its way into town across the other side of the river.

Inside you are welcomed into the first lounge, which has characterful wooden panelling. Double doors open to reveal your very own bar. The second lounge is at the front of the property, it’s a cosy room with comfortable seating for three on a sofa and an armchair with an electric stove as well as a dining table in the window. The quaint narrow cobbled streets are lined with little shops filled with antiques, crafts and gifts, tea rooms, restaurants and inns.
