"We very much enjoyed our stay of 2 nights. My 86 mother and I wanted to fish and this rental had easy access to a wonderful dock. Everything we needed was provided and more. The bedrooms are nice, 2 king beds a plus. The only missing upgrade would be in the bathroom in the front of the home. The shower is old and showerhead was way too short for anyone over 5’9. I did not go in the other bathroom so can’t speak to that one."

"What a great stay for our family! This retreat is a sweet, cozy cottage right on the banks of the Brazos River. It’s only a few miles from Waco but you’ll feel miles away from the world! The house had everything possible you could need. It is well appointed and was comfortable sleeping for 6. There is great outdoor space with a fire pit and chairs right by the river. "The location is great for the zoo and to downtown! We were able to hear the wedding venue at night, clearly. I loved the decor and they did a great job making the house feel like a well loved home. However, the house is literally leaning. Cracks in the walls and ceiling were visible. I never felt unsafe, but it was a bit unnerving. I loved the backyard and sitting area- we didn’t get to use it but if the weather was nicer, we’d be back there! "
