"The good: the pool was very nice and clean. The staff were very nice and friendly. The room was great. Very clean and modern. I was premium sea view with balcony and the glass and mirrors in the bathroom were pretty cool and sexy.There was a nice beach bag with towels for the pool which was a nice touch. "Phuket Panwa is a great hotel in a quiet and scenic location. A stretch to call it 5-stars, but it would certainly make a great 4-star hotel. The rooms were dated, but very comfortable. When you have sea facing rooms, just know there's high & low tides. When it's high tide, the view is scenic and serene, takes your mind away from reality. The breakfast buffet has a great selection of your usual international and local fares. The small private beach could certainly do with some garbage pick ups,...

"Overall this hotel was good. The staff were good especially the pool and beach people, they were amazing. The breakfast was also incredible. The main thing that let it down was the overall condition of everything. It’s just very tired in places and in much need of an update. There were bits falling off the bar roof by the pool and lots of things were broken. In our room hardly any of the light switches worked and we didn’t even want to go near the outside tub, it was just a bit grim."

"Fabulous retreat perfect setting , staff amazing , but drinks and food a bit overpriced especially as they appear to add service charge and tax which we did not see anywhere else on our three weeks travels . That said the location is fab and there are restaurants and 711 nearby . Would definitely visit again and hopefully next year . "
