We chose to stay at Hyatt Place at Wichita State University because the location worked well for us and it was very close to Starbucks. The rooms were large and had plenty of storage. The couch and ottoman were a nice touch and there was even a small side table we were able to easily move for convenience. The bathroom vanity had a large surface area and a shelf beneath it for more storage. The shower was large and the water pressure was great. The blow dryer had a long cord and multiple heat and air settings. The lighting in the bathroom was great and the exhaust fan was pretty quiet. The bed was comfortable. We bring our own travel pillows so I can't provide any information there, except that they seemed to be feather pillows. Bedside tables had convenient electrical for charging our devices and there were other outlets above the dresser that came in handy for charging our laptops. Our room also had a mini fridge and a safe, but we didn't use either. The coffee served each morning was good and they had multiple sweetener options as well as milk and creamer options (even flavored creamer). There were lots of breakfast options to choose from and everything was tasty. The staff we extremely friendly and the entire hotel, including common areas were clean. All in all, a very comfortable stay and we would definitely return. There is a small restuarant and coffee bar, serving Starbucks coffee at the hotel, but we didn't visit during our stay.

Everything about this property was exceptional. The room was sparkling clean, contemporary and nicely decorated; the bed was very comfortable and the shower was outstanding. The property offered water stations outside of the rooms, and the ice machines were conveniently located and stationed in their own room with a sound-proof that we really appreciated since our room was just across from the ice machine. The breakfast was phenomenal for a free hotel breakfast with a variety of hot items, fresh fruit, do-it-yourself yogurt parfaits and more. I also appreciated that the meal room had a microwave so I could warm up my plate after I opted to add cheese to my eggs. :) We will absolutely stay here again.

The his is our second stay at this hotel. Highly recommend! The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast is excellent.

This was our 3rd stay here, first 2 were great. This time we had a late check in around midnight, got yo our room and it was not clean, beds were gross. Changed rooms and thr bathroom was not cleaned .. hair all over, toilet dirty. One of the pillows on the bed was dirty and on the bedside table there were drink rings and sticky and the headboards were greasy/dirty.

This Hyatt is amazing! Beautifully designed, big warm pool, great big workout room, friendly staff, nice large rooms, delicious breakfast. Can’t think of anything that was missing!

Nice hotel seemed like new. Good breakfast options good kitchen staff, not much for English really nice. The pictures and room thought I booked. Was suppose be suite with one bed in a room with a wall separating the other 2 beds. Instead was 2 beds and couch in same room. The couch made out into a bed with terrible bars bending your back the wrong way. Why do they bother with fold out couch that is unsleepable.
