"A nice stay when in the area. The food is good, as are the team. I did hear some locals moaning about both, however that isn't my experience at all. The rooms are good, I had a different room this time and it's probably due for some tlc, however it was serviceable and the bed was comfy etc. The Bowl has a nice feel in a lovely location - it was a stunning evening to sit outside and dine whilst reading a book - with the bell ringing practise starting in the evening. "

"Great place to stay. Throughly enjoyed our 3 day trip with our dog. Right in the heart of Corsham which is a delightful village. Cannot praise the lovely staff highly enough - friendly, helpful and happy. This venue is run extremely well we would happily revisit. Breakfasts are excellent with locally sourced produce. "

"We stayed at Channings because it was convenient to visit family in Clifton. Rooms were fine for our needs, wifi was good enough for work-related video calls, continental breakfast was good. Staff were helpful. Since the rooms are above a bar, we were not surprised by typical noise from downstairs, and it did not affect our ability to rest and sleep. "

"Such a magical place to stay for the nearby town. All of the Harry Potter filming locations were awesome to see and the town was so chill. There was something very D&D about checking in with the bar keep to get a room at the Inn above the pub. We absolutely loved staying here, and everyone was extremely kind. "

"The Inn dates back to the 1600's, the owner who's been there about 22 years was lovely and his food was delicious. The rooms were clean and tidy although the bathroom was a little jaded but it suited us perfectly and we would go back "
