"The whole holiday was a wonderful experience. I wish it could have been longer, but we are already planning to return. The house was an ideal holiday home for us both and our pet dog who enjoyed the yard and the dog beach not far away. Evans Head itself is a very relaxing destination, with the beach, the bowlo, and areas nearby that we explored. The whole process of check-in/check out were simple and uncomplicated. "The Lodge is so peaceful and quiet. The balcony is a wonderful place to start and end the day. The beach and Byron town centre is only 10 minutes so it really is a wonderful blend of country and coast! The owners Steve and his wife are very responsive and caring. The lodge and main house are next door to each other yet cleverly designed for maximum privacy between the houses. "The house was comfy and roomy the glass doors and some windows could have been cleaned and maybe take your own pillow as they were very flat but otherwise very convenient to beach and some shops and enjoyed ourselves "

The house itself was perfect for us to stay in with timber floors thruout. Loved it was nice & big and we could escape one another for peace & quiet. "This sweet bungalow has it all - comfort, nature, quiet, clean. We thoroughly enjoyed this two bedroom one bath cottage with carport parking, ten minute walk to the solar train (the best trip to downtown Byron and back!!!), efficiency kitchen with all the things. Seriously adore this place and all its amenities. HIGHLY RECOMMEND."

"Nestled away in the hub of Byron this place is a wonderful hideaway if you want to be able to walk to restaurants shops and the beach but then retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The lane way behind the properly can get busy during the week if there is work going on, but it was still wonderfully private and the kitchen is well equiped, and a wonderful back yard for our puppy to play in. Large comfy sofa to watch movies on and games in the cupboard for those rainy days! I lovely reading area...

"We had a reunion of 5 girlfriends from University. Byron Brae was the perfect venue. It is hard finding a place that accommodates 5 adults without someone sleeping in a bunk or sharing a bed! "Our cabin was absolutely immaculate - not one negative. We walked 50 metres to the restaurant, best Chinese meal ever. Rotary ran raffles, complex absolutely packed so obviously Evans Head has a very supportive community. Great atmosphere, friendly locals - loved our stay in Evans Head - we will definitely return."
