With laser tag and rope course challenges, hands-on experiments and magician shows, there are activities for all ages at this upside-down attraction.

Discover over 100 hands-on activities at WonderWorks, an interactive science museum and entertainment complex. From experiencing earthquakes and electric shocks, to playing virtual sports and watching live magician shows, it is perfect for a day of family fun.

The first thing you’ll notice is that the building is upside down. Walk through the inversion tunnel to be turned right side up and begin your exploration of the interactive exhibits. Encounter the force of an earthquake and then put on a glove and feel 100,000 volts of electricity. Step inside a life-size replica of an astronaut’s space capsule or design your own roller coaster. Hone your pitching skills against virtual baseball stars and then experience the feeling of a bed made of 3,500 sharp nails.

If you are feeling energetic, test your agility and climbing skills on the ropes challenge. Face over 50 obstacles including shaking bridges at heights of 50 feet (15 meters). Join a team for a game of laser tag and seek out your opponents in a futuristic maze.

Take the family to see the spellbinding illusionist show at the Wonders of Magic exhibit. Freeing himself from locks and chains while trying to avoid a spinning saw is just one of the resident magician’s many impressive tricks. Enjoy panoramic views of Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains from a giant tethered balloon which rises to about 500 feet (150 meters).

If you get hungry while visiting WonderWorks visit the café for pizza or hot dogs, drinks and sweet treats.

Located a short drive north of Pigeon Forge’s town center, WonderWorks is easily reached via trolley. If arriving by car, use the large, free parking lot.

The center is open daily, including public holidays. Allow up to 4 hours for exploring all of the exhibits. Tickets are valid all day, granting you the opportunity to come and go as you please. General admission includes all WonderWorks exhibits and the ropes challenge course. Additional fees apply to other activities. Check the center’s official website for full details.
