"Enjoyed our stay as it was close to the university where our son was going to attend . Need a car if want it go to town as it is not close to city center . Beautiful and historic grounds . "1- sheet on bed was to small and come off during sleep which is uncomfortable 2- both evenings in restaurant staff were forgetful, took a while to order, refill of water was forgot both nights, charcuterie board is below average for the price, jars olives and toasted wheaten, meats are clearly just sandwich fillings, not worth the money. Second night, steak was dreadful quality and again staff forgot that we asked for dessert menu, so we gave up after 20 mins, we would of got dessert and more...

"This was fantastic! It’s a bit off the road on a farm which we really appreciate. The room was comfy and our hostess was the bestest, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. The common room was large and comfortable. We wished we could have stayed longer. And the food at McDermott’s Pub was really good."
