Within the property you will find attraction leaflets and information on what’s on in the local area. The entrance to The Old Stables 1 is on the right. The spacious open plan living area offers a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams. Deep filled sofas provide the perfect spot in which to relax in the evening whilst an electric wood burner provides a warming ambiance. The kitchen sits to one side and provides a large breakfast area for dining. Retire in the evening to one of three cosy bedrooms: a double and two twin rooms. The accommodation is completed by a shower room and a separate toilet. Step outside and find a shared garden overlooking grass land which is grazed by sheep during the summer months. Each cottage has a private seating area where you can enjoy al fresco dining on an evening or just sit with a coffee and watch the wildlife; don’t forget to bring some binoculars to enjoy watching the barn owls that have made this area their home.

Meander the cobbled streets, climb the towers in York Minster, take a relaxing cruise on the River Ouse or shop until you drop.

The coastal towns of Whitby, Scarborough, Bridlington and Filey are under an hour away whilst Malton, known locally as the ‘foodie capital’ of North Yorkshire is just up the road.
