"The night manager Teddy Tang was so helpful when I checked in late at night. He is friendly, courteous and very considerate. The manager in the morning Emily Lou is such a professional in hospitality. The entire staff worked as a team to make customers feel happy and comfortable. They are an asset to IHG. I will definitely recommend to my friends and colleagues ."

"Modern, great room and breakfast"

"First thing I noticed when arriving at Crowne Plaza Kunming City Centre is very nice short drive-way direct to the main entrance, under covered. Check-in was smooth and fast. Staff was courteous and helpful, speaking excellent English as well. The room was quite big, with a small balcony. Very clean, comfortable, and well furnished with all the small items found in a luxury hotel. Rooms was serviced and stocked-up everyday. There was an award winning Chinese restaurant on the 4th floor with very nice foods and at a reasonable prices. Service was also excellent. Breakfast and western meal are at 2nd floor - great variety of choices for the buffet breakfast. The location of the hotel was just nice for us, as it is just 300-400m away from a very nice food street and big food court with many many types of choices. It was also very easy to get a taxi or Didi to / from the hotel as they all knew where it is. "

"Really nice hotel for the price. Spacious room with nice view. 30mins walk to Nanping St for food and shopping. Only drawback that the hotel allows smoking.it has a strong smoke smell in hallway even on a nonsmoking floor."

"The environment is really pretty and tropical, lot of trees . Room is nice, staff very helpful, food is good. The only drawback is it’s kind of far from city. You will need taxi for most of the activities. The hotel is walking distance to DianChi only. Overall, hotel is nice for getaway , but not too convenient if you are here for touring the city "

"We booked a room with a sofa bed for our teen, and they had it made up for us upon arrival— very nice! Bed was very comfortable, loved that they had windows that could actually open so we could get fresh air. Only reason I didn’t put excellent for more categories is because one day of our multi day stay, they did a less than stellar job on cleaning up and didnt refill our coffee stash. But the other days were excellent."

"Staff was unfriendly and acted like they didn’t want us there. We chose to forgo $ paid for two additional days to stay at another hotel with better vibes."
