"Overall good. All SPA services are chargeable, Good location. I left my earbuds in the room which were found. The hotel will not send them to me by tracked post ( at my cost) as their policy is for me to arrange a courier pick up for delivery to the UK which is not cost effective- very disappointed that they cannot be more helpful. "Great hotel with good staff. This hotel is conveniently located at the edge of the Old Town. They have a parking garage at the building, which makes it easy to park. However, they are not able to reserve parking. The breakfast was excellent and room clean and decent size. Overall, a very pleasant stay."

Breakfast in an adjacent bar/restaurant is convenient and the buffet has plenty of options. Would definitely stay in the same location again. Cozy, clean rooms, friendly staff. "

"Great location. Beautiful hotel, especially the conservatory (where breakfast is served), the bar (cozy & cool vibe) & the restaurant. The meal at the restaurant, Season, was incredible…and I say that as a chef myself. Beautiful concept for the menu, and perfectly executed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Riga."

"We had a fantastic stay in Grand Poet Hotel. We booked the Deluxe room and we were given room 419, which had a fantastic view over the park and Riga old town. There was plenty of room for 3 people including our son. Room was tastefully decorated and super clean. We utilized the valet parking which was really convenient. Charge was 30 Euros per night. Hotel was walking distance from everything, including all the nice restaurants in the old town. SPA was nice, but a bit overcrowded at all times....

"We loved being so close to the centre of Riga. The room was good but a little noisy through the walls from other residents but the hotel provided ear plugs with this in mind. Breakfast was interesting as it was catering for a wide range of tastes. "

"The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Latvian National Library and overlooks the Daguava River. Beautiful and relaxing river walk available to hotel guests. The staff were simply outstanding from the front desk attendants to the housekeeping staff. Everyone is extremely friendly, helpful and courteous."

"Vert friendly staff. Clean og beautiful decorated hotel. Placed close to ALL you must see when visiting Riga. Great breakfast og nice and tiddy hotelrooms. Only downside is the noice from sorounding bars (my room faced the main street). But a clear recommendation from me to book this hotel"
