"The property was built in about 1885 and has been brilliantly restored to the point where I was half expecting my horse and carriage to come to take us the steam train. I suspect that anyone who failed to feel the romance was probably dead already. The ambience is amazing."

"Great easy place to stay off the side of the main road through town. As we were checking in later, received a text with the room details, very convenient and reasonably priced. Has a restaurant next door with tasty food. Only thing missing was a teaspoon in the room to make coffee with!"

"The property was lovely. The view was good on the north facing room but would have been better south facing. The pool is heated and very clean. Great for a night or 2. Small TV and not able to connect to the smart functions but that was ok too. Great staff and they remember your name which was a fantastic thing as a guest to hear. Would recommend a stay thereeven with the walk up the hill."
