Many golf resorts have other amenities such as games rooms, pools, playgrounds and restaurants for the non-golfers in your party.

Great place for a February getaway
"Just a weekend away in February. Pretty dreich outside and bitterly cold, so it was a time to hunker down but our room provided space for board games and a TV. Bar was good. Swimming pool was also very good. We visited Dundee and St Andrews. I can imagine this would be beautiful in good weather but ..."
