"You don't absolutely need a car for Howzit Maui, but it's really helpful. The hostel arranges daily tours and activities, but if you don't make it onto the sign up sheet, then you need to make your own arrangements. "The only thing I did not care for were the added on fees. It was $25 per day for use of the coffeemaker and other such things plus $10.05 per day for parking. The other add ons were taxes which amounted to about $50 per day. All of this should be included in the advertised price."
