"Property was a bitt hard to find in the dark since there is no sign that says "The Hillsboro"- you have to look for a very tiny orange sign that has the address number on it and the driveway is almost hidden. Once there, though, the staff was great, the hotel was clean and looked freshly renovated, and the room was clean. My one suggestion would be too better weather-seal the rooms since the tile floors were slick with condensation from the humidity of the day."

"Yes, the property is a bit old but our room was clean. Although a partial renovation is done still some parts need to be updated. For instance the key system is not reliable so you’ll need very often to replace your key cards with new ones. The good point was that maintenance guy came immediately and fixed it. The hotel is with beach front and they provide you sun chairs and umbrellas which is a big plus. To get to the hotel from the MIA airport is very easy by Metro Bus 150 and then trolley...

"During our visit the pool was opened but did not have enough water ( I believe ) for it to run through filters, so the water was cold, and did not appear to be running through pumps at all. Staff was friendly but Hotels website did not inform me that my reservations would have to be paid using only card, when I originally picked pay at hotel, cause I usually pay cash for all hotel stays.
