"This place is beautiful with its jungle setting. I’m sad that I didn’t have a chance to use the jet bath on the balcony! The pool and the pool bar wonderful. The room was beautiful, although it was funny as the sink in the bathroom was very beat up. It didn’t really fit! Also, there was a family of cats that showed up every time we opened our door or arrived. They were absolutely adorable. I really hope that the lodge gets them fixed and finds them homes. I wanted to take them with us! "

"This lodge offered a truly unique experience of comfort and class in the far from ordinary setting of a rain forest. The rooms were comfortable, set up in small buildings housing several rooms each, connected to the main lodge by an elevated walkway through the grounds offering a sense of being somewhat in a jungle. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the amenities, such as included breakfast, were top notch. The pool and poolside set up was particularly noteworthy allowing for unwinding and relaxing while surrounded by the peaceful forest. Access the to main town requires a taxi ride, gladly arranged for by the lodge team. I really enjoyed my too brief stay there and was very pleased with the total experience."
