"Can’t fault the hotel itself, stunning and felt very safe. Very close to Zaandam train station (3 min walk) and easy to get to central Amsterdam. Slight issues such as other guests were smoking right outside the doors and you would have to walk through it almost every time you left the building. Also paid for late checkout but the cleaner didn’t seem to know this and had to try and explain. Overall, would return and great value for money as we paid under £300 for 4 nights"

"What a wonderful stay! The hosts were so welcoming, making you feel like a guest in their home. My room was lovely and clean, with thoughtful touches throughout. I visited at Christmastime, and there were even a couple of decorations in the room. Breakfast was fantastic. If you are staying upstairs, the stairs are very narrow and steep, which made me a bit nervous with a big suitcase, but the kind host helped me carry my suitcase up and bring it back down. "The staffing and service was amazing, but the clarification of which building is which is very confusing. Please make sure to double check with staffing about which of the three buildings you can go to. Also make sure to get a email of your code or you might be a bit stranded. It was my first trip out of country though, so it can be my fault as well!
