I loved how each day they delivered a bag of pastries and water to the door. The room was small like most in Europe, but worked out well for two people. Very clean. "We had a great stay at Crowne Plaza (twice). It's in an excellent location very close to the metro at Sainz de Baranda and the the Circular (grey) Network. Also, within easy walking distance to Retiro Park. There are cafes, restaurants and shops close by and it is an easy walk to Calle Ibiza. Staff were very good and accommodating. The hotel (part of IHG chain) is eco-friendly and has a partnership with a Hospital for Children. "
