"The hotel is undergoing refurbishment but seems to be mostly complete. The beautiful bar was not open but opens in two days so 11th March I believe. The staff and lobby are is beautiful with a nice cafe on the side. The walk is less than 10 minutes from the train station and in a nice area quite a lot less noisy than the main streets just nearby. The hotel room was stunning and modern with a lovely seat to look out of the windows which includes an automatic blind. The shower and bath were impeccably clean and powerful which was excellent. The tv single was intermittent on all channels not sure if that was just my room but not required as there is so much nearby. The hotel was very peaceful and I can’t wait to return "

"It is a great location near the train station, and a nice walking distance from all the beautiful attractions. Not in the middle of everything, but close enough if you don’t mind walking 10 to 15 minutes to the tourist attractions.."

"The location was perfect for us been close enough to walk to dam square and other attractions but also have nice walks along the canals rooms were clean and well serviced no complaints at all my wife wasn’t a fan of the mattress but I I think it was just preference as I had no problems."

"It was very convenient to all the major sights and attractions. It is right on the Amstel River. The hotel is quiet and clean with a number of dining options at all price points nearby; including a well stocked supermarket, Albert Heijn about 200m away out the back door, with premade breakfast, lunch and dinner to grab and go if you'd just like to save some money and eat in your room. I already recommended the hotel to two friends who are going to Amsterdam in April. "
