"Would have rated as 6 rather 5 stars a few years ago during last stay pre pandemic a number of years ago, and few things no longer present such as open complimentary bar in rooms, and evening cheese/charcuterie trolly more extensive and higher end back then. Also seemed higher staffed back then. But regardless excellent location, comfortable rooms, great staff, and great complementary breakfast. "

"The young, energetic staff always seemed freindly & eager to help out. Housekeeping was right on point. The poximity to the main train station is a big plus for me as I have limited mobility. It is literally a 100 yard walk from the train from Schipol to the lobby of the hotel. One suggestion, coffee makers in the rooms please."

"What an absolute gem of a hotel the staff are amazing big shout to Bas who was incredibly helpful through my stay. The hotel was wonderful bedrooms are beautifully appointed and the bath is so deep I couldn’t get out ! Dirty Martinis in the Taylor Bar were exceptional Eggs Benedict perfectly done 5/5 definitely cannot recommend highly enough."

"We are regular visitors to Amsterdam but it was our first time staying at this hotel. We loved how central the location was. Straight over the road from Central Station. A small issue when we checked in, with our booking transferring over, however the gentalman who checked us in, was very helpful and we received an upgrade to the top floor with a room facing the canal, which was lovely. "Lovely hotel, was almost a perfect review however there were a few minor details with the cleaning of the room (I.e the mirror in the bathroom had finger marks) one of the pillows had a stain. But overall was a pleasant stay and I will definitely be returning. Location was great. "

"The location and room is good. They upgraded our room which is good and said that we have the best view, but there is no view as we are blocked by another building. Still, we are satisfied with the stay. "
