"i think this is the best beach on koh kood. it is very beautiful and quite. there are not many ppl on the beach at all time. i-lay is the resort that has the rooms closest to the beach. the rooms are about 15 yards to the beach. the staffs are nice, friendly and helpful. there are kayaks and paddle boards that we can use free of charge. we enjoy the stay and will definitely come back. "

We found a rundown version where many things didn’t work as they should. We booked the “Grande Deluxe” room, their most expensive. In that room, we found debris and construction materials leftovers. When we mentioned that the bathtub was not working, they claimed it was not mentioned in Expedia’s posting; thus, they had no obligation to repair it...

"We stayed at the Me Dee resort for 4 nights in early January in Lodge D16. The Lodge was mediocre. It was clean and the AC was good. The mini fridge is helpful and the beds were comfy. It lacked storage space and was located next to the road, which can be noisy. The shower was absolutely rubbish (terrible pressure), and the lighting in the Bathroom was poor. "the Island is full of ants, bugs, mosquito, gecko, dogs etc. & this house is a very good example of all of that. I had to buy several chemical product to disinfect the whole house but i couldn't kill them all they keep coming back from everywhere. I'turn on the air-con & dead lizard come out from it & land on the pillow below, with a bleeding head & a moving tail. no reception or housekeeping, a guy show up every few days only to change the towels.
