"Beautiful property. The staff were incredible and so kind, friendly and willing to help. The beach was private and we didnt experience any sandflies. The scooter we rented was in great condition. Snorkels and paddleboards were complimentary which was a nice touch. Breakfast was wonderful. The hilltop rooms had beautiful views, the only thing i wish is that there were more hooks in the bathroom to hang towels but they do provide a rack outside. A perfect stay! "We enjoyed out time at this resort. The property felt a little run down and tired, but it was clean and safe. There often weren't enough chairs around the pool, but the staff did eventually bring more up from the beachfront area. We didn't not experience any sandfleas (at the resort or elsewhere on the island). It was easy and affordable to rent a scooter at the resort."

"The island road doesn't connect fully. However it's less than 2 hours to drive around the island. Plan accordingly. All of the rooms sit on top of the water and should have some kind of view. Quiet and beautiful. Hotel restaurant looked like the food was good and affordable (live crab and fish). Secluded and kind of hard to get to but worth it imo. "

"Pen was phenomenal. English-speaking and very helpful getting taxis and answering questions. Pen made our stay wonderful. This is a beautiful resort in the middle of nowhere, which was just the getaway we were looking for. We did get a taxi to White Sand Beach one day and I was glad we didn’t stay there because it was too touristy. At night at Parama, all you can hear are birds and frogs. Paradise. "
