"The hotel is by the beach, which is why we booked it. The beach itself is not swimmable but that was expected. The problem is that nothing was well maintained. The pool bed were very dirty and couldn’t be used. We used the pool and couldn’t lay down as the mattresses were very dirty. It’s a pity as the hotel has potential. It just needs a lot better maintenance."

"We arrived around 9 pm and were welcome by calm and quietness. Room and bathroom was clean. Had a little patio. Very quiet at night- air con worked well! Pillow were comfortable however bed was extremely hard and could feel the springs of the mattress but found out in the morning that the other side of the bed was more padded- hopefully not all mattresses are like that here! "I enjoyed my stay at Mont Talay. It is in a great location with a clear view of beach and sea. It is walkable everywhere in Prachuap. The room is basic but it is a great price & has adequate provisions for a short stay. Could do with some refreshing & renovations. Overall, I would recommend if you want a cheap place to stay in an ideal location & don't have high expectations of room amenities. "

"A hidden location which is perfect for a getaway.. Lovely private beach..and the nature sea room is beautiful :) The staffs wer friendly but non of them wer available when we went down for a drink in the small bar on the beach front..
