"We really enjoyed our stay at the Moxy. The hotel is very clean and the staff super friendly and helpful. We were a little disappointed it was so far from the City center, but once we figured out the transportation system, it was quite easy to get around. It is probably walkable to the center in the warmer months."

"The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. They didn't have breakfast but did have a late afternoon tea and cake time. Dinner had a choice of salads and a couple different things like soup, meats, and cheeses. It was located near lots of shops and places to eat. It was also walking distance to all the excursion meeting spots. However, they did not have housekeeping services. You could change out for clean towels, but the rooms were not cleaned, or the bedding changed during your stay. They did not have a shuttle bus to and from the airport, but the local transportation is very good, we would recommend taking a taxi to a from the airport as the airport express buses are just about the same price as a taxi and the taxi will get you there much faster. We would stay there again"

"We have had a fabulous stay at this modern and clean property which is centrally located so only a short walk away from everything and with a stunning view of the city. Excellent communication with the owner regarding accessing the building and the property. Luggage store in the building was incredibly useful. "

"This was a one night stay until our other hotel, on the docks, was available the next day. It's a great little hotel for all the basics - the beds were comfortable, breakfast was good, water was hot and everything was clean. The location is really good and just a few minutes walk to the docks (but not the water and mountain view I was looking for). The room is small and for a couple you wouldn't really spend time in it rather than sleeping, because of its size, but there is a communal room downstairs with large TV and tea/coffee is always available there as well."

"Totally amazing hotel in every way - friendly service, really helpful for storing bags (before and after check in/out), amazing location right on the docks and by the bus station. Also the cable car shuttle bus goes from outside, as well as our whale tour. Everything is 'just along the road' or you might already be right by it! 7-11 stores, tourist information etc etc. We had a family room which happened to be on 11th floor. The view was amazing and we enjoyed just spending time in the room with a drink, looking out at the views. The beds were really comfy and the linen so good I considered buying some! My son was on a double sofa bed which he said was really comfortable too. I liked that there was an 'open divide' section where the TV was one side and desk on the other - it gave us privacy. We also had a table and 4 chairs, fridge (mini bar), kettle and coffee machine. Toiletries were in refillable canisters on the wall and the hotel is actively trying to reduce it's energy usage - they had their recent reduction achievements on the breakfast restaurant wall. Breakfast was huge and delicious. So much choice and everything was sparkling clean in the dining room. The times for breakfast were really good too - meaning you could have a bag to take away if before 7am, and sit down breakfast until 11am - perfect if you've had a late night aurora hunting. There are cheaper hotels, but I doubt you'd find better. Well worth the splurge."
